Scope
This policy covers the Lumen UI documentation website, native Lumen Playground applications, published packages, and the public Lumen MCP server published by Santiago Molina. Lumen is an open-source design system and does not require a user account.
Playground applications
The Lumen Playground applications are offline component catalogs. They do not require an account, display advertising, include analytics or tracking SDKs, request sensitive device permissions, or collect, retain, or share personal data. Interactive form values, appearance choices, and demonstration settings remain on the device only for the current app session. Opening documentation, support, or privacy links leaves the app and uses the selected browser, whose provider may process requests under its own privacy policy.
Information processed by the MCP server
MCP requests can include a component name, framework or platform selection, catalog manifest, and natural-language search query. The server uses that input only to return public Lumen documentation, source contracts, recipes, tokens, and rules. The application does not use MCP requests for advertising, profiling, or model training.
Operational data
Hosting and security infrastructure may process limited technical data such as an IP address, timestamp, requested path, response status, and user agent to deliver the service, enforce rate limits, investigate abuse, and maintain reliability. Lumen does not intentionally request or store account credentials, repository contents, authorization tokens, or personal profile data.
Storage and sharing
The MCP application does not persist tool arguments or responses. Operational logs, if produced by the hosting infrastructure, are retained only as long as needed for security and reliability. Lumen does not sell personal information. Technical data may be processed by infrastructure providers only to host, secure, and operate the service or when required by law.
Your choices
You can use the published npm package over stdio instead of the hosted MCP endpoint. You may also stop using or disable the plugin at any time. For a privacy question, open aLumen support requestwithout including sensitive information; a maintainer can arrange a private follow-up when necessary.
